About Us

PHPhoto is the Biggest and Most Active Organization of Photographers in the Philippines! Founded Feb 2, 2004 by John Mateos Ong, this group was originally a YahooGroup organization that evolved into a message board to offer its members more features. It was created both for Professional Photographers and Amateur and Hobbyist Filipino photographers.

The goals for creating this site are:

a. To be a venue where people can have fun while learning from each other.

b. To be a group that protects rights welfare of photographers by educating them about standard industry practices.

c. To be a venue for business and trade. Infact, PHPHOTO is probably the best way to reach the photographers market.

d. To remind its members that it is God who gives us the ultimate talent to create beautiful pictures. For it is written:

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" Isaiah 64:4
